Calgraphics has been proudly assisting one of Australia’s leading retail and aviation fuel product companies with branding and associated services for more than 10 years. Recent changes in the ownership and operations, has seen the creation of one of the worlds’ largest independent energy trading company known as Viva Energy Australia. The consequence of this change has seen the need to rebrand several of its Australian businesses.

The speed of change required for key parts of the new branding changeover has seen the need for strong Project Management. “We needed to ensure all aspects of the project were understood and completed with utmost quality to meet tight timelines.”

Our scope on this project includes both fleet rebranding and the provision of materials, decals, installation resources and safety signage to the network of airports where the customer has a sales presence.

After many weeks of planning and preparation, we set about printing and laminating the core of the materials. The project timeline dictated 30 days for this phase which saw many kilometres of vinyl printed and 100’s of litres of ink used. This amounted to some 450 hours of printing and close to 100 hours of cutting. To meet the date and maintain other client business we purchased and installed an additional printer in a matter of days and without a hitch.

On the 31st May and with a team of 8 installers, 20 vehicles of all shapes and sizes located at Melbourne’s main airport were transformed overnight.

An amazing outcome and the result of a great production team, skilled and enthusiastic applicators onsite working with supportive co suppliers to our customer. One site down, the rest of the country to go!
