In late 2020 Calgraphics was pleased to be awarded the contract by Caltex to assist changing its brand to Ampol fuels (now known as Ampol Ltd, ASX:ALD). The scope included soft signage for some 2,000 sites commencing 2021 and to be completed by end of calendar year 2022.

The initial scope of the work included the quoting, manufacture and delivery of all soft signage, as well as managing some 40 installation teams covering each State and Territory. Later in 2021, Calgraphics was requested to undertake site surveys prior to quoting which we now do for all remaining Sites to be de-branded / rebranded.

To meet the demand of an average of 100 sites per month, project management tools were developed with direct linkage to our core accounting and manufacturing system. These tools significantly cut the time required to convert survey data to a quote, then from acceptance of quote to an order, and then orders to production jobs. Essentially there’s no re-keying of information.

Some key statistics as at the end of February 2022:

  • > 400,000 products ordered and dispatched
  • Some 600,000 kilometres traveled excluding metropolitan locations
  • 43,000 hours of Installation works

We are receiving consistent feedback that the quality of workmanship is first class which is a credit to the many people involved to make it happen.
